In Danish this is jokingly known as the 1-finger-system, as touch typing is called the 10-finger-system here. An English translation could be something like: The boss was playing “keyboard poker” with his index finger or something similar.
The probability of this word being untranslateable is basically zero and better translations than mine surely exists.
