ChamorroFina’guiTo be visited by a spirit.

In Chamorro culture, the spirits of ancestors are referred to as taotaomo'na. If/when you are paid a visit by them, it's called 'fina'gui'. This can be a gentle feeling of something (someone)brushing against your side, or a stray wind in your bedroom, or in some cases a pinch that may bruise you. Fina'gui is not considered a scary or spooky term, many find it reassuring and seek comfort in their ancestral beliefs.
