Chinese 穿堂风chuān táng fēngThe wind that passes through a building when the windows or doors on opposite sides of the room are opened at the same time.
The wind can sometimes be quite strong, due to the negative pressure generated by obstacles inside the building. Considered to be unlucky according to Feng Shui.

堂 = house
风 = wind
