1- This is meant to be a fun collection of words – there is no need to be aggressive, rude, or offensive.
2- No one speaks every language on the planet. So when someone says that they think a word doesn’t translate, they mean they don’t know that it does among the other languages they speak. No one can know for sure that a concept is 100% unique to a language – at least not without running a questionnaire through all the indigenous tribes in the Amazon or something.
3- Just because you speak a language doesn’t mean you know every word of it. This seems pretty obvious but so many people comment in the form of “I speak French and I don’t know this word” – now you do?
4- Emphasis on the first point.
